Frequently Asked Questions

Why is my remote control not working?

•Check the batteries. Dead batteries are the most common cause of remote failure.

• Verify the wall control does not have the  "lock" or  "vacation" mode engaged.

• Some LED bulbs emit radio frequencies that can jam the remote's signal. Try "garage door-safe" versions or standard incandescent bulbs.

• Inspect the safety sensors for any obstructions and alignment.

• Reprogram the remote.

Do you offer residential and commercial services?

Yes, we provide garage door and opener sales, installation, repair, and maintenance for both residential and commercial properties.

How often should garage doors be serviced?

We recommend annual maintenance to ensure safe operation, prevent unexpected breakdowns, and extend the life of your door and opener.

Are broken garage door springs dangerous?

Yes. Springs are under high tension and can be dangerous if they break. Spring replacement should always be handled by trained professionals.

What types of garage door springs do you service?

We service all spring types, including torsion springs, extension springs, and Wayne Dalton TorqueMaster systems.

Can you repair my garage door opener or does it need to be replaced?

We service all major makes and models of residential and commercial garage door openers. Many opener issues can be repaired. Our technicians will diagnose the problem and recommend repair or replacement based on safety, cost, and performance.

What are the benefits of an insulated garage door?

Insulated doors (measured by "R-value") help stabilize garage temperatures, reduce energy bills for attached homes, and operate more quietly than uninsulated doors.

Do I need a lock on my door if I have an opener?

Most modern electric openers act as a lock themselves. Adding a manual lock is often discouraged because engaging it while using the opener can severely damage the door system.

How long does installation take?

A standard garage door installation typically takes 4 to 6 hours, and a standard opener installation typically takes 2 to 3 hours.
